 The Giant Who Never Slept and Other Tales, co-produced with Flossy and Boo, was an interactive outdoor story trail for families to explore together.

Using dynamic storytelling performances, drumming, and crafting, audience members were immersed in the world of Gwyn, a Welsh giant with so many stories in his head, he couldn’t sleep! Participants used a bespoke map to follow the trail, finding stories, memorable characters, and treasures along the way.

They learned about and identified local flora and fauna in the five community parks where the event took place. And they had a chance to try their hands at drumming, to mimic many sounds they heard in the stories. Each participant went home with a story-catcher, which they made and decorated with mementos from the day. The production saw over 300 audience members who joined us for fun and adventure in nature!
