We are looking for music workshop facilitators to work with us on our new Anthem funded project ‘Tune Up’.
Tune Up will be working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, who maybe haven’t had much music making experience. The project is being co-designed by the young people so as a starting point we’d like them to experience as many different styles and approaches to music making as possible.
Our group in Bettws, Bridgend meet on Monday night with young people are aged from 11-16 yrs. There will also be a second group in Maesteg working with 16-25yr olds starting on a different night.
We are looking for tutors to run 1.5hr workshops afterschool and the fee is £85 per session.
Whether you are a songwriter, beatboxer, underground dancer producer, choir leader or someone who creates music in a different way, combines music with drama, makes music for film, or has a unique approach, we’d love to hear from you.
You will need to have experience of working with hard to reach/challenging behaviour as the young people we work with often have multiple needs. You will also need an up to date advanced DBS check (or be happy to get one).
If you’d like to be involved please send your CV along with a covering paragraph telling us a little about your approach/specialism to [email protected]
Deadline – April 30th
